About Us
Georgetown International, which is headquartered in Bethesda, MD, has over thirty five years of experience in developing and managing large-scale infrastructure development projects in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the Caucasus.
Some of our key successfully developed and managed projects include the Ciragan Palace Kempinski Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey, the Georgia-Pacific Corporation’s debarking plant in Maine to export products to Japan and Turkey, Cedar Gap Inc.’s debarking plants in Texas and Estonia to export products to Japan and Turkey, the Harvey Nichols luxury department store in Baku, Azerbaijan, and the YEStoPay secure credit card payment platform in Azerbaijan (in partnership with Azercell, which is the country’s largest mobile telecommunications company).
In each instance, we have developed suitable business plans for the projects at hand, identified key parties, facilitated and advised on deals and managed projects going forward.
Further, we have worked as exclusive agents of the Georgia-Pacific Corporation in over twenty countries worldwide.
